KY Tourism’s ‘Kentucky After Dark’ Campaign Is the Perfect Halloween Guide
I guess if you say it loud it enough, for write it enough times, you will get your point across. Or maybe Kentucky Tourism and I are just on the same wavelength.
I can't count how many times I've written about a collection of...oh, I don't know...museums, theme parks, vendor markets...and have suggested touring several of them to create the perfect vacation or road trip.
Well, look what Kentucky Tourism has created for us. It's called "Kentucky After Dark" and it's a curation of more than 20 haunted attractions, festivals, or just fitting locations all across the Commonwealth.
Obviously, no list of this kind would be complete without the Waverly Hills Sanitorium:
And there's one entry on the list with which I was unfamiliar, and that would be Sassy Trash. What is it? Why is it scary? Well, it ISN'T scary, but it's cool that our tourism department felt it worthy enough to include.
When you visit "Kentucky After Dark," you'll immediately see an array of pretty dope AI images. In the upper right corner of the page, click the Menu button and get the list of all the attractions Kentucky Tourism thinks will enhance your 2024 Halloween season. After perusing the list, I'm certain they're not wrong. Plus, at the bottom you can click an link and enroll in the Team Kentucky Passport program. There's also a handy calendar of all the events and attractions the website spotlights.
Bookmark this invaluable tool and have a happy and FRIGHTENING Halloween.
