Regarding Christmas and present-day trips to New Mexico, I've noticed that I do not enjoy them in the same way I did when I was a kid. Maybe you just can't. That's perfectly fine. It's also interesting. Theme parks are the same way. Disney World comes to mind. I guess it's the lack of wonder which accompanies every new encounter during childhood.

Circus Auditions

The circus, however, is a different story. I don't know why, but it is. You've heard the saying, "Will wonders never cease?" Well, when it comes to the Big Top, they don't. And, I would imagine that that wonder extends to the thousands of performers who have entertained us for decades under the big tent. If you're such a performer and would like to break into the circus business, there's great news for you.

Ringling Brothers Hiring

The historic Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus is looking for unique acts in a variety of categories to be a part of The Greatest Show on Earth. While they are seeking traditional acts like acrobats proficient in floor and aerial disciplines, the iconic company is also in search of specialty and daredevil acts; dance/acrobatic & street stunt performers; athletes; action-sports athletes; physical comedians and characters; multi-instrumentalists/rhythm specialists/beatboxers; and original and innovative acts (they'll get more specific once you apply). And, of course, all applicants must be at least 18 years of age.

Barnum & Bailey Circus Looking for Performers

While Ringling Bros/Barnum & Bailey are always looking for acts, there seems to be a big current focus on comedy, based on this post.

But if you're skill sets fit ANY of the above descriptions, go for it. A world full of kids of all ages is waiting to see you strut your stuff.
