Every evening of the festival, local residents get the chance to showcase their talents - whether that’s singing, dancing, cracking jokes, or even performing magic tricks - on the main stage of the bustling Franklin Street festival. But first, you’ll need to impress the judges during the audition rounds.
This year’s auditions are set for Wednesday, August 21st, and Thursday, August 22nd, kicking off at 5:30 p.m. each night at Mater Dei High School Auditorium, located at 1300 Harmony Way on Evansville’s west side. The auditions are open to the following age groups:
- Junior Division: Pre-School through Fifth Grade
- Middle School Division: Sixth Grade through Eighth Grade
- Senior Division: Ninth Grade through Twelfth Grade
- College Division: Up to Age 24 (Vocal Acts Only)
Performers can enter twice: once as an individual and once as part of a group. Be sure to wear the costume you plan to showcase during the Fall Festival for your audition performance.
