Meet PEPE LE PEW: The Chatty Husky Looking for a Southern Indiana Forever Home
Meet PEPE LE PEW, our charming and I-promise-doesn't-stink pet of the week available for adoption at It Takes a Village.
Let's first discuss the elephant (or skunk) in the room - his name. He's named PEPE LE PEW, not because he stinks or looks like a skunk, but because he was sprayed by one shortly before being picked up as a stray in Spencer County.
PEPE LE PEW is a 3-year-old Husky with beautiful salt and pepper fur. The folks at It Takes a Village say he is known for being talkative - like many Huskies, PEPE loves to express himself and keep his humans entertained with his vocal antics.
To ensure a perfect match, PEPE requires an on-site meet and greet with other dogs. We're not sure about his compatibility with cats and kids, so it wouldn't hurt to introduce them beforehand, too.
If you're looking for a loyal and engaging companion who will always keep you company with his lively chatter, PEPE LE PEW is the perfect dog for you. Apply to adopt this handsome Husky at ITVrescue.org and give him the loving home he deserves!

And don't forget about their RENT A DOG Program. A quick fill form and copy of your photo ID will allow you time out with one of ITV's vetted shelter dogs. These day dates are great for the rescues - it gets them some exercise and new information to help us get them adopted. It’s been a big hit- so don’t miss out!
