This event is expected to bring roughly 500 riders, plus their families, to Evansville!

And the cherry on top of this good news sundae is that 2027 also marks Burdette Park BMX's 50th anniversary. Founded all the way back in 1977, the track is one of the oldest in the country, and it's built quite a reputation along the way. USA BMX itself has called it one of the last remaining true downhill courses left in competitive racing. How cool that on its 50^th birthday, Burdette Park BMX will get the national attention is deserves!

A First for the Historic Track

Burdette hosted the North Central Gold Cup Finals back in 2019, but the 2027 Hoosier Nationals will be the track's first-ever USA BMX National event. That’s a huge milestone for a facility that's spent five decades building riders, memories, and community.

USA BMX has over 70,000 members and more than 300 sanctioned tracks across the U.S. and Canada. It is the largest cycling organization in the country, running nearly 30 national events a year.
