Evansville residents considering a future in law enforcement, or perhaps looking to build a stronger bond with their local law enforcement officers, will soon have an exciting opportunity. Another Evansville Police Department Community Academy (formerly known as the Citizen's Academy) is coming up in August and registration is open now.

What is the Evansville Police Department Community Academy?

The Community Academy is for anyone interested in learning more about the various units within the Evansville Police Department and how they work to keep us safe. The FREE program meets each Tuesday for 12 weeks, from 6pm-9pm at the CK Newsome Center in downtown Evansville.
