Meet Our Pet of the Week - FRITO

This adorable fella is FRITO, and he’s our pet of the week from It Takes a Village. FRITO is a 7-month-old Pit Bull Terrier who is, as you can clearly see, as handsome as they come and is ready to find a family that loves him just the way he is.

FRITO is also a bit of a snack hog. He takes his food and treats very seriously (hey, don’t we all?), so he’ll need someone who understands his quirks and is ready to help him keep learning with positive training and structure.

FRITO is a Good Boy in Training

The good news is FRITO is crate trained and already knows the basics. He’s still working on perfecting his potty-training skills, but with a little patience, he’ll get there. He’s also done well around kids, dogs, and even cats – as long as everyone respects his boundaries.

FRITO is located at the Daviess County location of It Takes A Village. If you’d like to schedule a meet and greet with him, go ahead and fill out an online adoption application HERE.

If our pet of the week isn’t the right fit for your home, please visit It Takes a Village to see the other rescues that need to get fostered and adopted. And don't forget about their RENT-A-DOG Program. A quick fill form and a copy of your photo ID will allow you to spend time with one of ITV's vetted shelter dogs. These day-dates are great for the rescues - it gets them some exercise and new information to help us get them adopted. It’s been a big hit- so don’t miss out!
