New Kentucky Wesleyan College president speaking at Thursday’s Rooster Booster

Dr. W. Craig Turner, new president of Kentucky Wesleyan College, is the guest speaker at the Greater Owensboro Chamber Rooster Booster Breakfast this Thursday, July 7th.

Dr. Turner became the 33rd president of Kentucky Wesleyan College on May 31st. He was president of Catawba College in Salisbury, NC from 2008-2011. He served at Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, TX from 1992- 2008. He was president of Hardin-Simmons from 2001-2008 and was executive vice president and chief operating officer, executive vice president and chief academic officer and vice president for academic affairs.

The Chamber will also be announcing a new program for its members to be involved in education advocacy at the breakfast.

Breakfast. The Joe Lowe Morning Show will bring Rooster Booster to those who can't attend.

Audubon Area Community Services/Daviess County Early Childhood Council is the July Rooster Booster Breakfast sponsor. The breakfast is held in the Community Center at Owensboro Christian Church and begins at 7:30 a.m. Reservations are required and should be made by calling the Chamber at (270) 926-1860 by noon on Wednesday, July 6th. The $10 fee includes a buffet breakfast.
