The Owensboro Symphony Orchestra is hosting a really unique new event in downtown Owensboro next Friday evening.  It's called the Symphony Stroll and you're invited to Owensboro riverfront on Friday, September 25th, to be part of it.

The Symphony Stroll will be a socially-distanced event, but gives you the opportunity to enjoy live music at different sites throughout Smothers Park.  Owensboro Symphony Maestro Troy Quinn will be on hand as will the Symphony Chamber Orchestra.  The event will reach all the way to BB&T Plaza at the RiverPark Center and there will be ensembles along the way.

As you can see, the Symphony Stroll promises percussion, strings, brass and jazz.  And, possibly the very best part, it's an absolutely FREE community event.

Of course, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Owensboro Symphony Orchestra encourages you to help them Keep Owensboro Healthy and Safe by following these guidelines:

• Face masks are recommended and encouraged

• Keep at least 6 feet distance between other attendees

• Keep your distance from the performers

• If you are ill, please refrain from attending

So, if you're looking for an opportunity to get out of the house, enjoy some fresh air and hear some incredible music, make plans to visit the Symphony Stroll. It runs from 6pm to 8pm next Friday!
