On this Throwback Thursday, we're gonna ride in the time machine back to 1980 and 1982. How many of you remember when two Owensboroans made the top five of the Miss USA Pageant in those years?

They had a lot in common. Not only were they from Owensboro, they were 19 years old at the time of the pageant, they were graduates of Daviess County High School, and they were both fourth runners-up.

While the video quality isn't great (we are talking 38 and 40 years ago), the audio is just fine.

Do you remember these pageants? My sister graduated with Lisa so we were front and center. Two years later when another Owensboroan (DC grad) was going for the title, there we were again.
