The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to restrict westbound traffic to one lane on the Wendell Ford-Western Kentucky Parkway near the 72 mile marker in Ohio County starting Tuesday, March 20, 2012.

This westbound lane restriction is to allow work on the KY 369 Overpass at WK Pkwy mile point 72.433.  All westbound traffic will move to the right-hand or driving lane in this work zone.

Motorists should be alert for slowing and merging traffic as they approach the 73 mile marker.

Motorists should slow down and use appropriate caution where equipment, flaggers, and bridge maintenance personnel are on the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow.  There will be a reduced speed limit in this work zone.

Work at this site is expected to take about 3 days to complete, weather permitting.
