Search For Ohio County Shooting Suspect Considered “Armed and Dangerous” Underway
A search is underway for for an "armed and dangerous" shooting suspect after he wounded a man near Fordsville.
Ohio County Sheriff's Deputies got a call to check on a man who had been shot. The victim, Travis Rippy, told deputies Harry Musgraves and another man woke him up and took him to an area near Fordsville. Rippy drove to the area and was followed by the suspects. The suspects then turned off all of their vehicle lights and they pointed guns at Rippy. Rippy then got out of his vehicle, he was shot in the leg by the suspects and they drove off.
Deputies found two pipes containing suspected meth lying next to Rippy at the scene. Rippy was taken by medical helicopter to Deaconess in Evansville, there is no word on his condition.
The sheriff's office says Musgraves and the other suspect are driving a newer model Jeep Liberty, license place number 325WTH.
