This is one of my absolute favorite photos we took during our Kinky Boots photo shoot last week. The Chamber Young Professionals unveiled this amazing mural downtown last September and I finally got the perfect chance to take photos in front of it. And I must admit . . . those red Kinky Boots were made for walking (and posing) in front of it!
Friday night at the 2019 Chamber Celebration, more than 700 Chamber members, regional, state leaders, along with the Greater Owensboro Chamber recognized eight local businesses as the 2019 Businesses of the Year.
The vote is in and starting July 1st, 2017 Owensboro residents will see higher taxes as the Owensboro City Commissioners voted unanimously to approve the annual budget for 2017-2018.
After last weeks final budget announcement, it's plain to see that Owensboro is on the brink of the largest tax increase we've ever seen. In an urgent statement released today, the Owensboro Chamber Board Chair and Advocacy Chair laid out a budget plan for the Mayor and Commissioners to consider.
