Call them "vintage," or maybe go with "classic," but whatever you want to call them, Illinois license plates from the 80s (white background, blue lettering, three stripes) are getting a new lease on life. Want them back on your car?
In some states, it's totally cool if your car only has a single license plate. In other states, you're looking at getting pulled over and ticketed for the same thing. A better question than "is it legal in Illinois" would be "why can't all 50 states agree on this subject?"
