The world of LEGO® building blocks has just changed so much in the past 20 years. The company is 76 years old and I doubt even the original creator Ole Kirk Christiansen had any idea how big people’s imaginations would be or that the blocks would go beyond their toy status.
I don't know the exact point when everyone went crazy for dinosaurs, but for my generation, it happened with Jurassic Park in 1993. The bells and whistles and technology at the time to bring the prehistoric creatures to life were revolutionary. That technology in part is now on display with Dino Quest which will begin this Saturday at the Louisville Zoo.
The first thing that comes to mind is the movie Night at the Museum with Ben Stiller. My boys were obsessed with that movie when they were older and always talked about wanting to stay overnight. Now you can at these fun attractions.
