Menards

I got word late yesterday afternoon that there may be an IHOP going up right in front of Menards next to Starbucks.  Here's what I found out.

*From the Owensboro Police Department* On April 23rd, 2013, at approximately 4:45pm, the Owensboro Police Department responded to a bomb threat at Menards, located at 3001 Heartland Crossing Blvd. An investigation was opened after responding units were informed that a male subject made threats to blow up this location during a phone call to the store.

I am a bit confused. Everyone is talking about downtown and that is a good thing but what about the other parts of Owensboro that are growing?  The new hospital, National Guard Readiness Center, and Downtown are all anyone talks about. Many are so concerned about Show-Me's going into the former Ruby Tuesday's location in the Mall they haven't noticed all the other areas of expansion. It seems we f
