My buddy Ricky Evans is one of the biggest NASCAR fans I know.  And he just wasn't happy at all with the 2014 Sprint Cup season.  Sunday, of course, marked the season finale at Homestead Miami and Ricky was on Facebook before the race sharing his opinions about this year's Chase changes and how they affected the sport.  See if you agree.

It was announced Thursday that Tony Stewart would not be racing in the Pure Michigan 400 this Sunday as he continues to grieve and to stay out of the spotlight following last weekend's tragic accident that killed Kevin Ward Jr. And on Friday, a Stewart-Haas Racing executive confirmed there is no timetable for if or when Stewart will return to the Sprint Cup Series.

NASCAR driver Tony Stewart hit and killed another driver during an Empire Super Sprint car race at the Canandaigua Motorsports Park, according to local officials. Tony Stewart will not race in Sunday's NASCAR Sprint Cup race at Watkins Glen International.

Wikipedia tells us this about the Pocono Race Track: Pocono Raceway, a major automobile racetrack, is home to an Indy Car race, the Pocono 400, and two NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. The Pocono 400 this weekend and the Pennsylvania 400 in August. It also serves as a racing school and motorcycle track.

Kansas is the heart of America and Saturday it's beat is the sound of NASCAR super engines. The Spring Cup Race moves into Kansas Super Speedway just southwest of Kansas City. You can hear all the excitement on WBKR or wbkr.com starting at 5:30. Jeff Gordon is in the lead with Matt Kenseth and Kyle Busch close behind.

It's coming. The 2014 NASCAR season. And, you'll hear all the exciting action every week on WBKR. Of course, WBKR will carry the Great American Race at Daytona. It's been announced  Luke Bryan will start the celebration by performing at the Budweiser Pre-Race Show on Feb. 23.
