It was two weekends ago when tri-state temperatures spiked into the upper 60s, the pressure dropped, a severe weather warnings were rampant.

Monday doesn't look to be as volatile from my admittedly untrained eye, but the National Weather Service's Storm Prediction Center has put the tri-state under a Marginal Risk for severe weather as we kick off the first work week of 2017.

The worst stuff is projected for the deep south, and we send our prayers and best wishes to those folks and hope the worst doesn't happen.

The SPC is seeing the possibility for enough volatility that the Ohio Valley could see some action.
