Maybe what happens in Vermont will stay in Vermont. (Although, since their cheddar cheese is RIDICULOUSLY amazing, I'd have to make an exception.)

But what if a bill that was recently introduced in the Vermont state legislature that would ban cellphone use by anyone under the age of 21 were to spark a trend?

Or at least got other state legislatures to think about it?

It's the first time I've heard of any state going this far with regards to young people using cellphones, even if it is just in the proposal stage.

The senator who proposed the bill, as expected, cited the high number of traffic accidents and fatalities that result from using a cellphone while driving, with texting often the culprit.

Who knows if it will get any further traction in the Green Mountain State, let alone have a domino effect in the other 49 states.

But it's an interesting discussion point, don't you think?

SHOULD there be an age limit on cellphone usage?
