WKU Athletic Director Offers Excused Absence Note For NCAA Women's Tournament

This past Saturday afternoon, I tuned in to listen to the Conference USA title game between my WKU Lady Toppers and the Southern Mississippi Lady Eagles. The Lady Tops dominated and they earned 19th trip to the NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament. And guess what? Their first round game against Ohio State is this Friday afternoon in Lexington! Wanna go?

Unfortunately, I have plans, more about that later this week, but if you or someone you know want to skip out on work, WKU athletic director Todd Stewart has taken care of it.

Here's the kicker, if the Lady Tops win Friday, their next opponent will potentially be, Kentucky. The Lady Cats will play before WKU on Friday at Memorial Coliseum.

WKU vs. Ohio State will tip off at approximately 1:30 p.m. CST, Go Lady Tops!
