The Owensboro Police Department works closely with the Children's Advocacy Center and has announced its big benefit, which is set for Saturday.

The Owensboro Police Department is pleased to announce the 3rd annual
Children’s Advocacy Center of Green River District benefit rally, which is
scheduled for Saturday, April 18th, 2015. The Owensboro Police Department
works closely with the Children’s Advocacy Center and knows the value of such
a terrific organization.

Spearheaded by Chapter One of the Blue Knights Motorcycle Group, the rally
will begin at Western Kentucky University-Owensboro Campus and end at the
Children’s Advocacy Center of Green River District in Henderson, Kentucky.

Registration will take place on April 18th from 10:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at
Western Kentucky University-Owensboro Campus, located at 4821 New
Hartford Road, Owensboro, Kentucky. The event is free and donations will be
accepted. Lunch will be provided at no cost as well and will be served at the
destination.

The rally will leave this location at 12:00 p.m. and will be escorted by the
Owensboro Police Department and Kentucky State Police. Once you reach
Henderson, the Henderson Police Department will join the escort to the
destination. No motorcycle? That’s okay because they will allow motor vehicles
to participate as well. Door Prizes will be awarded at the end of the rally.
