Eleven candidates are running in the Owensboro City Commission race.  All candidates have been invited to participate in a candidate debate on Monday, April 9 at Owensboro City Hall Commission Chambers (101 East Fourth Street) at 5:30 p.m.

The candidates will respond to questions assembled by the City of Owensboro Neighborhood Alliances.

The public is invited.  Admission is free.  The debate will also air live on Channel 75 and stream live on www.owensboro.org.

The primary vote will take place on May 22.  The City of Owensboro Neighborhood Alliance Program is a citizen-led effort that was organized in 1999 by city leaders to make city government more responsive to its citizens and to help citizens help themselves.
