We are getting very close to back to school time. With that in mind the Daveiss County Public Schools have a bunch of events planned to make the first few days of the school year easier on students, parents and teachers.

A quick reminder that registration for All County Schools is open now and information about registration is also posted here.

Since all grade levels and many schools differ in what they offer and when it is wise to scroll down to your students school and see when various programs are being offered. Keep in mind if you have students going to more than one school you should check each school as programs and times vary.

Parents and students are encouraged to attend these events. For more information, contact the school your child will attend. Students who are new to the district (first time attending a DCPS school) may register between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. daily at their school after July 9 for elementary schools … or after July 16 for middle and high schools (call school for appointment). The following documents are required: Birth certificate, Social Security card, medical exam, Kentucky immunization certificate, Kentucky eye exam, dental exam and proof of address.
