George Stella Coming to Owensboro

George Stella, Celebrity Chef who once weighed 467 pounds, is coming to Owensboro to host his "Iron Kids Chef Challenge". The events is sponsored by Junior League of Owensboro. It is their mission is to promote child health and wellness by empowering children and youth to make healthy lifestyle choices.

The free event is Saturday at  the H.L. Neblett Community Center, 801 W 5th St in Owensboro from 10 - Noon.

Goody bags, free t-shirts, Zumba, Door prizes including two Kroger gift card giveaways, as well as great information for everyone to help jumpstart their healthy living for the new year!!!

Stella has been featured frequently on nationally televised shows such as ABC's The View, CBS 48 Hours, Entertainment Tonight and The Insider, Stella has also hosted the weekly Food Network series, Low Carb and Loving It, and has authored two best-selling cookbooks.
