Junior Achievement of Owensboro has three volunteer opportunities to teach the JA Our Region Program at the Owensboro Catholic 4-6 Campus.  This program so introduces the relationship between the natural, human, and capital resources found in different regions and explores regional businesses that produce goods and services for consumers. 

There are five lessons included in the program.  The sessions have been scheduled to meet daily the week of May 7-11.  Here are the following times: 

  • One class has been scheduled to meet with the following schedule:
    • Monday, Wednesday and Friday:  12:15 to 1 p.m.
    • Tuesday and Thursday:  1 to 1:30 p.m.
  • One class has been scheduled to meet with the following schedule:
    • Monday, Wednesday and Friday:  1 to 1:45 p.m.
    • Tuesday and Thursday:  1:30 to 2 p.m.
  • One class has been scheduled to meet with the following schedule:
    • Monday and Tuesday:  12 to 12:45 p.m.
    • Wednesday:  12:50 to 1:35 p.m.
    • Thursday: 10 to 10:45 a.m.
    • Friday: 8 to 8:45 a.m.

 JA will also provide all materials and lesson plans needed to teach the curriculum as well as a one-hour training session for new volunteers.
