More Methamphetamine Arrests in City
On January 29, 2012, at approximately 7:30 p.m., the Owensboro Police Department initiated a warrant check at 700 Amherst Drive.
Officers located Michael Dockery and Ashley Shown at the residence, and also detected a strong chemical smell coming from inside. Officers secured the home, and alerted the Steet Crimes Unit.
Street Crimes detectives obtained a search warrant for the home, and that search revealed several items indicative with the manufacturing of methamphetamine.
Following the investigation, both subjects were arrested on the below charges,and were lodged at the Daviess County Detention Center.
Manufacturing Methamphetamine, 1st Off – Class B Felony
Poss Controlled Substance, 1st Deg., 1st Off (methamphetamine) – Class D Felony
Tampering with Physical Evidence – Class D Felony•
Poss Controlled Substance, 3rd Deg. – Drug unspecified – Class A Misdemeanor•
Poss of Marijuana – Class B Misdemeanor•
Drug Paraphernalia-Buy/Possess – Class A Misdemeanor
