This is really cool. A new mural, see it here, has been painted in Cynthiana, Kentucky paying homage to 'The Walking Dead' TV series. In case you didn't know, creators Robert Kirkman and Tony Moore are both from Cynthiana in Harrison County and in the 'The Walking Dead' graphic novels, Sheriff Rick Grimes, his family, and Shane are from the same town.

Portuguese street artist Sergio Odieth had already painted one large mural in Kentucky, in Lexington on the side of the Lighthouse Ministries Building of jazz legend Louis Armstrong. Here's Odieth working on 'The Walking Dead' mural.

Cynthiana's annual 'Walking Dead Day' will take place on Saturday, August 6th. It is a FREE event! Road trip?
