"Painted Pianos" is coming to downtown Owensboro, Kentucky in conjunction with Friday After 5 on Friday, July 27.  The City of Owensboro began a new community arts project late last year where local artists created works of art on pianos.

The painted pianos will be located around the downtown area for the general public to enjoy.  To kick-off the night, the Panther Pianists from Kentucky Wesleyan College will showcase the Painted Pianos and entertain the public at Colby’s, the Owensboro Museum of Science and History, the International Bluegrass Museum, and RiverPark Center.

The ‘Painted Pianos’ will also be featured during the grand opening festivities of Smothers Park on Friday night, August 24 as part of City Night at Friday After 5, sponsored by the City of Owensboro.
