Police Awareness Day Saturday

Come join the Owensboro Police Department for the 7th annual Police Awareness Day, Saturday April 28th, 2012, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The event will take place at the Owensboro Police Department 222 East Ninth St. Owensboro.

Awareness Day features  free food and tours of the department. There will be  demonstrations and displays from various units including the Evidence Collection Unit, Hazardous Device Unit, Emergency Response Team, K9 Units and more.

Officers and equipment from other agencies will also be on hand.

For kids, there will be inflatables to play on, facepainting, a bicycle rodeo and a child I.D. kits(fingerprinting) station.
