I know, I know, Miranda is newly single, but she didn't bounce back that fast. I got a tip 'The Disaster Artist' author/actor Greg Sestero runs away with Lambert at the end of her "White Liar" video. Is this poetic justice? Maybe. For the second year, Sestero is bringing his story about making 'The Room' and the film itself back to Owensboro.

Here's footage from last year's event:

I went last year and it was an absolute blast! This year, the Daviess County Public Library has teamed with the Theater Workshop of Owensboro to bring a screening of 'The Room' and Greg "Mark" to TWO's Trinity Theater on Thursday, August 6th at 7:00 p.m. After screening "the Citizen Kane of bad movies", Sestero will speak about his experiences making the film (it's weird and it's hilarious!) and he will invite members of the audience on stage to act out scenes from the original script.

In 2013, Simon & Schuster published a book called 'The Disaster Artist' co-authored by Sestero about his friendship with 'The Room' director Tommy Wiseau and the tales of making 'The Room'. The book is currently being made into a film by James Franco and Seth Rogen with Franco portraying the oddball director. Copies of the book will be available for purchase and Sestero will sign books after the event.
