Have you ever wanted to walk in shoes of the past? Do you love history? Then look no further than the fifth annual "Voices of Elmwood" at Elmwood Cemetery presented by the Daviess County Public Library and the Owensboro Museum of Science and History.

There are ten new stories every year. This year's stories include: John Freidmann, David and Melvina Morton, Rube Sands, Mattie Paul, Frank Lockett Hall, John and Samuel James, Louise Gasser Kirtley, Tom Petit, Joseph Dawson, and Camden Riley.

Tours will begin October 2-4, and they will run 6pm-10pm with wagons departing every 30 minutes. Other dates October 9-11, and October 16-18. Tickets are $15 and you can get them by calling the museum at (270) 687-2732 and to find out available dates and times. Elmwood Cemetery is located at Old Hartford Road and Breckenridge St.
