Website Lists Kentucky’s 15 Most Beautiful Churches…But There’s a Mistake

It's no surprise that some of the most beautiful and striking architecture you're likely to find will be in the form of churches. And I'm talking about ones that have been around a while.

Modern churches just don't have the classic look of the older ones, and that doesn't matter. I realize that.

So I was intrigued to happen upon a list of the 15 most beautiful churches in Kentucky. I wasn't surprised that Louisville was represented more than any other Kentucky city.

And I was happily surprised to see Owensboro made the cut. Except for one thing.

The Owensboro church that made the list is Third Baptist Church. You know, the church in the picture at the top of this blog.

Well, the church they have listed as Third Baptist Church of Owensboro on this list IS NOT Third Baptist Church of Owensboro.
