There is a corporation called the GLM, or the Global Language Monitor and they use special technology to track word usage on social networks, blogs and various publications.  The way they make this list is very interesting and kind of creepy.  We worry about the NSA listening to our calls and reading our e-mails and there is another company that tracks what words we use the most.

Now taking a look at some of the websites that are paid attention to.  We would assume FaceBook would be at the top of the list.  Mark Zuckerberg is featured today as our big time number one man for social media.  Also google, yahoo and YouTube would be paid attention to as well.

This years list has a remarkably negative theme as it is based mostly on serious events that hurt the United States such as the Boston Bombings and all of the stuff the NSA is doing.  Also it puts light on the conflict in Syria.
