Keith Todd with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet tells us about several roads in the area that are closed due to high water.

Conditions are subject to change almost hourly. The best course of action is to turn around and stay out of high water on any city or county road.

In Daviess County:

Ky 762 Mile Post 0-2

Ky 298 Mile Post 2-3

Ky 142 Mile Post 5

Roads open but with high water:

Ky 279 MP 5-8

Ky 764 MP 1-2

Ky 56 MP 9-10

Ky 1207 MP 2-3

High Water is also reported in Hancock County in Ky. 1403 at Mile Post 0-1 but no roads are reported closed.

McLean County reports water over the road on Ky 1046 between MP 4-5

Ohio County has no water onthe Ohio Co. side of Ky 762 at MP 2-3 but signs are out due to the Daviess County Side of 762 being closed.

Several Road closings are reported in Union and Webster Counties as well.

For additional information on road closings and high water check the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet before traveling. Never attempt to go thru high water on the roadway unless directed by officials.
