431 Down to One Lane Thursday April 5th

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to restrict traffic to one lane on us 431 in Daviess County on Thursday morning, April 5, 2012. 

The lane restriction on US 431 is to allow maintenance and inspection work on the Panther Creek Bridge at mile point 8.588. This is near the intersection with KY 554 at the southern edge of Owensboro.

Motorists can expect to encounter one lane traffic with alternating flow controlled by flaggers from about 9:00 a.m., CDT, Thursday, to about 12 Noon. 

Appropriate caution is required where equipment, flaggers, and inspection personnel are on the bridge deck in close proximity to traffic flow.
