Air Show Ready To Roll

Starting Friday the 20th, the Owensboro Air Show will begin at the Owensboro and Daviess County Regional Airport.  Friday is set to feature preliminary events, that way they can get some practicing under their belt before the big day Saturday.  They will be over the river for your viewing pleasure.

Saturday's events begin at 1 p.m. and last for two and a half hours.  Also an added attraction will be at English park.  The USS LST 325 has been docked at English Park since Thursday and will be sticking around until Sunday.  Tours are available!! It's $10 for adults and $5 for children 6-17 years old and under 6 are admitted free.

1490 WOMI will be running commentary throughout the show by Mr. Steve Stavrakakis.  You are encouraged to download RadioPup for your iPhone or Android devices to hear the live play by play of the events!

People are encouraged to bring their chairs to English and Smothers park to view some of the fastest and the loudest.
