Tonight's the night! Live music, and a lot of it, returns to downtown Owensboro with the grand opening night of the 25th Anniversary Season of Friday After 5. Here's a look at tonight's full lineup of performers with times, stages and more!

Friday After 5 Lineup for May 21st, 2021

Tonight marks the official start of the 25th anniversary season of Friday After 5. Here's a look at the performers and bands who are kicking off the season.

Of course, here at WBKR, we are again the official radio sponsor of Friday After 5 and we'll be broadcasting live from 5 to 6pm each night of the season. Join us for live music, food trucks, non-profit booths, vendors and more.

And, this is fun too! We have partnered with Friday After 5 and the Western Kentucky Regional Blood Center for a talent search called Friday Night Fight! We'll have three separate auditions at Friday After 5, then a grand "Friday Night Fight" finale event with eight finalists. The ultimate winner will snag $1000 and earn the right to headline the Ruoff Party Stage on the finale night of Friday After 5, September 3rd.

If you know someone who sings or a duo, trio or band who'd like to compete, CLICK HERE for official rules, audition dates, etc. And friendly reminder, we're capping each audition at fifteen competitors. Registrations for the first audition (set for Friday, May 28th) are underway now and we're about half full.

Friday After 5's 25th season is billed as the "Mile of Music" and features a brand new stage this year- at the Holiday Inn. Stages run from that location, down Veterans Boulevard, all the way to RiverPark Center!
