If you're Saturday is open-ended this weekend, make plans to visit Maloney's for the big "Believe in Jansen" benefit.

Little 2-year-old Jansen Lewis sustained brain injuries after being shaken as a 7-month-old.

The therapies he is undergoing are yielding progress, but the damage, which destroyed the brain matter on his left side and left the right side functioning at only about eight percent.

As is the case in so many situations like this, insurance is covering some of the therapies but not all of them.

This Saturday, Maloney's will have a benefit for Jansen that will begin at 9:30AM.

That's when registration will begin for the benefit ride which starts at 11. The charge will be $15 for a solo rider and $20 for a couple.

Prizes will be awarded.

At 4PM, registration will begin for the cornhole tournament which will start at 5, with prizes to be awarded.

All day long, 10% of food sales at Maloney's Pizza & Wings will be donated to "Believe in Jansen."

There will also be a silent auction.

Plus, there will be live music from Josh Merritt, Cody Glenn, Insulated, and Blackford Creek.
