
Benefit Ride for the Children’s Advocacy of the Green River District
The second annual benefit motorcycle ride for the Children's Advocacy of the Green River District is Saturday, April 19th. The CAC serves children in seven counties including Daviess, McLean, Hancock, Henderson, Ohio, Union and Webster.
The ride will begin at the Owensboro campus of Western Kentucky University. Registration begins at 10:00am and all bikes will be out at Noon.
The Children's Advocacy Center of Green River District's mission statement is:
"...to reduce the traumatic effects of abuse; protect children from maltreatment; seek justice for child victims; investigate abuse as a team and strengthen our community's ability to nurture children, while keeping the comfort and safety of the child the first priority."
