Country Meets Broadway at 8th Annual Denim & Diamonds St. Jude Concert

Denim and Diamonds, WBKR's annual concert fundraiser for St. Jude, is set.  Our 8th annual event is Friday, January 26th at 7pm at Theatre Workshop's Empress Theatre.  And this year's theme is exciting and different and promises to be moving and entertaining.  In previous years, we've presented themes like Country Meets Gospel.  One year's show was Denim and Diamonds: Acoustic!  This year, our theme is Country Meets Broadway and our line-up features a combination of local country singers and some of Theatre Workshop's best cabaret talent.  You're in for an incredible night of music and inspiring stories from St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. General admission tickets for Denim & Diamonds are just $10 per person.  A limited number of V.I.P. tickets are available as well for $25 per person.  V.I.P. tickets include Center Orchestra seating in the first five rows of the Empress, plus, a Gavin Howard-designed St. Jude t-shirt.  Here's the shirt Gavin designed for this year's event!  We love the theme.  It's "Fight like a Kid".

Tickets will go on sale to the general public at 6am, Monday, January 8th, here at WBKR.com

Denim & Diamonds is 7pm, Friday, January 26th.  The box office will open at 5pm.  Doors to Theatre Workshop will open at 6pm.  Seating (with the exception of the V.I.P. area) is first come, first served.

Denim and Diamonds is presented by Diamond Lake Campground and Resort, Terry's Tees of Owensboro, Daniel Dick State Farm Insurance and Free Your Mind, Body and Soul Wellness.

All proceeds benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.  No child should die in the dawn of life.
