Deadline Fast Approaching for Local Military Families to Share Their Stories
My grandfather served in Europe during World War II. I had an uncle who served in the Pacific theatre. And I'm reminded every single day why we should celebrate our veterans at all times.
WBKR has been honoring local servicemen and women with our "Townsquare Cares for Military Families" campaign.
We want to celebrate YOU.
We've been asking you guys to share any stories you have about local military personnel and their families.
If you know of a military family to whom we should pay tribute and salute with a $500 "thank you," let us know at wbkr.com by Friday.
And, honestly, we just want to hear your stories. They mean so much to us and to so many in the tri-state--a part of the country, I know, goes above and beyond in its consideration and love for those men and women who lay it all on the line for our country.
Please share your stories by tomorrow afternoon, the deadline.
And again, THANK YOU!
Here's a video we created to honor those who have served:
