Downed Tree in Southern Daviess County Could Be Big Headache Until at Least Friday

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is reporting that a tree came down during the Thursday afternoon storm and took out power poles and lines.

The tree is four feet wide which presents enough of a problem that it could be until Friday before the mess is sorted out and repair work by Kenergy line crews can begin.

This happened on State Road 762 near Texas Gas Road about a mile from the Daviess County-Ohio County line.

Because of all the work that will need to be accomplished, you can expect this road to be closed until sometime Friday.
