Drag Queen Bingo Coming to the Owensboro Convention Center

A few years ago, my friend Beth and I were hanging around the East Village of New York City and we ended up at the Bowery Poetry Club. We were thumbing through a copy of Time Out New York trying to find a FREE event to go to. And, there it was! Drag Queen Bingo with Murray Head, NYC's most well-known drag king. We rolled up in the Bowery, got a BINGO card a piece, plopped down and had a ridiculously good time.

Well, now, Drag Queen Bingo is coming to Owensboro. I am on the board of New Beginnings here in town and we're teaming up with the Owensboro Convention Center for a fun new event. It's 7:30pm, Saturday, June 12th and tickets are on sale now!

Tickets are $25 per person or you can purchase a table of eight for $175. Both options are available and tickets go on sale now at 10am CST (Monday, May 3rd) at OwensboroTickets.com.

The event will be hosted by Mahogany Knight.

Plus, Mahogany was the National Showgirl of the Year in 2014. She has traveled and performed all over the country and has hosted her own show in Springfield, Illinois for over fifteen years.
