Early Morning Fire at Price Less Foods in Owensboro

Firefighters in Owensboro were called to the Price Less Foods location on Scherm Road in Owensboro around 3am this morning.  Fire broke out in the store and caused significant damage.

Angel visited Price Less this morning and reports that local managers believe the contents of the store will be a total loss.  When she reported live on the WBKR morning show, the store was essentially flooded with water used to extinguish the blaze.  Investigators with the Owensboro Fire Department are working to determine the cause of the fire.

In the meantime, Price Less Foods will be closed until further notice.  District and store managers are currently working on a plan to restore the property and service to their customers.
