Free Food Distribution Drive-Thru Event in Owensboro

The Owensboro Coalition of Concerned Churches in partnership with Feeding America, the USDA and CFAP will host a drive-thru meal distribution at the Owensboro Sportscenter on Friday. Here's what you need to know.

There will be FREE food for families in need on Friday, October 23rd, 2020 starting at 2PM. Everyone is welcome to come and pick up groceries until 6PM in the parking lot of the Owensboro Sportscenter. Meat, dairy, fruits, vegetables and other food items will be offered during the event. There's enough food to impact over 1,200 families. What a beautiful blessing for so many during this difficult time.

"The Owensboro Transit Service, at 430 Allen Street, will provide a shuttle van to and from the event and back to the Transit Station for residents who need to use the bus line. Also, food boxes will be available for those who travel the yellow line during the time of the event."

This will be a drive-thru only option to minimize contact and to keep families safe.
