Henderson Lions Club Holding Virtual Fundraiser

In a normal year, the Henderson Lions Club would hold a big auction to support local organizations in the area. It will look a bit different this year, but the mission remains the same, and you could also win BIG.

In 2020, the Henderson Lions Club were able to help so many in the community, because of your donations. Through these charitable funds, they were able to provide $38,000 in eyecare assistance, grants to local nonprofit organizations and college scholarships to high school seniors in the community. In addition, they also donated $35,000 for COVID-19 relief in the community. That's incredible, but we can always do more. Anything is possible when we all work to help one another. Don't you agree?

The Henderson Lions Club shared the exciting news with us this week. Here's what they had to say, "To take the place of our annual auction this year, Henderson Lions Club is coming to you virtually with an online 50/50 raffle with a guaranteed $10,000 pot and the winner taking home a payout of at least $5,000! The Lions will return the remaining proceeds to our community in the form of donations, just like we do each year with our Auction. Any member of the Henderson Lions Club or their immediate household is not be eligible to enter or win the online 50/50 raffle."

You can purchase tickets online from February 1st thru February 27th, 2021. One entry is just $10.

The virtual drawing will be held on February 28th, 2021 at 6pm on Henderson Lions Club Facebook page. You're already a winner by helping so many, but I'll say good luck anyway!
