History Buff- Babe Ruth’s First Homerun 98 Years Ago

You have to love baseall, its our sport.  The Great Bambino, Bam, The Sultan of Swat, The Big Fellow, Jidge, Babe Ruth.. Smacked his first homerun to the stands in 1915 while playing for the best team ever, The Boston RedSox (My Opinion).

Ruth played pitcher for the Sox and was later sold to that team down south (N.Y. Yankees, Moon's Team) and was converted to a full time right fielder.  

Jidge snuck in 22 seasons and is of course famous for his spectacular homerun where he pointed to the stands and smacked one out to where he was pointing, good one Bambino.  Im sure that made Moon happy.  Moon was in his early 30's when Babe Ruth hit that slammer to the stands in the fifth inning of Game 3 of the 1932 world series.
