I just heard Eyewitness News Chief Meteorologist announce that a little ICE AND SNOW will be mixed in with the precipitation late tonight. Uh, excuse me...IT'S HALLOWEEN!

Yep, he said it. We heard it. And with the temperatures dropping below freezing AND moisture in the air, I guess it can't come as a HUGE surprise.

You know, except for the fact that it's still October.

Wayne also told us earlier this afternoon that this will be the coldest Halloween in 21 years. I hope everyone has a big, bulky, warm costume tonight and folks going to football games are properly bundled up.

Here's and advisory from the National Weather Service:

COLD AIR INCOMING...COMBINED WITH GUSTY WINDS...WILL PRODUCE WIND
CHILLS IN THE 30S...OR EVEN UPPER HALF OF THE 20S...FOR THE EARLY
TO MID EVENING HALLOWEEN FESTIVITIES.

A FREEZE WARNING IS IN EFFECT FOR LOW TEMPERATURES FORECAST BELOW
FREEZING LATE TONIGHT. TEMPERATURES WILL BEGIN TO DROP BELOW
FREEZING SHORTLY AFTER MIDNIGHT AND ALL AREAS SHOULD SEE AT LEAST
A COUPLE HOURS AT FREEZING BY LATE IN THE NIGHT.
