In an effort to shape the team roster to fit his system, IceMen Head Coach, Al Sims added his son, Jordan over the weekend, and resigned rookie forward, Mark Anthoine.

Additionally, forwards, Danny Hobbs and Jakub Culek were both recalled by the Binghamton Senators of the AHL.

Sims played his collegiate hockey at the University of Connecticut where he scored 101 points in 146 games. He leaves the Peoria Rivermen of the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) to join the IceMen where played 23 games this season, scoring six times and dealing seven assists. He also spent five games with the Idaho Steelheads of the ECHL earlier this year.

Danny Hobbs departs for Bighamton after playing 13 games for Evansville this season, scoring four goals and racking up two assists. He has not played since December 27th due to various ailments.

Jakob Culek only recently returned to the roster after missing two months due to injuries. During the team's three game road trip from January 9-11, where he scored once in each of those contests.

After losing a close one to Cincinnati on Saturday inside the Ford Center, the IceMen get set to host them once again tonight. Fans can get upper bowl tickets for just $5 with the Evansville Courier & Press Front Page Fan Ad, and The Ford Center will treat fans to $1 soft drinks and $1 popcorns for this Martin Luther King day game.
