Indiana Hoosier Basketball is Coming to Evansville

Hoosier fans rejoice! Our favorite college basketball team is coming to the tri-state for a game this year. As a diehard IU fan, I always love the opportunity to see the boys in action close to home, and with the line-up Coach Darian DeVries has this year, this game is sure to be a great one. The Indiana Hoosiers and Western Kentucky University Hilltoppers will face off at The Ford Center in Evansville on October 25th at 3:00 pm CST. General admission tickets will go on sale Friday, June 26, at 10 am and will be available at ticketmaster.com and the Ford Center ticket office. However, a limited number of VIP tickets will be sold through ticketmaster.com on the day of the on-sale. VIP tickets will include prime seating, access to a private floor hospitality area with a cash bar, select complimentary concession items, and two non-alcoholic drink tickets.

What to Look Forward to with Hoosier Basketball in 2026-2027

According to the whispers out there, Hoosier basketball is looking on the up-and-up going into the 2026-2027 season. Only returning one player from the previous season, sophomore forward Trent Sisley, this year's team is a complete reset. Additionally, Coach DeVries has recruited some top-tier players from the transfer portal, and the incoming freshman class is stacked with top recruits. While I'm not a big fan of believing in the hype (I don't care how many stars they say you're worth, show me what you have), some of these transfer athletes have already proven themselves elsewhere.
